Forum Features: This forum is like many others and is primarily used as a back up site for peeps who are in my Rps over on RPG. Yet, I try to add a little more to the mix than just a basic back up forum. It can get tedious to have to post on RPG and then copy and paste over here every time you post. So to give a little something back I have added on features to the forum to try to make things a bit more enjoyable here. I will try to keep you updated about what features the forum has and add in more slowly over time as I have the spare time and cash. It will take me a bit to update what all features we have and what they mean or how to use them. Please be patient with me. - Awards

Awards Below you will find a list of the available awards that Lady A has handed out. These are displayed on your profile page and on your mini profile on the left. These are not something you can get by post count. These are personal awards designed by Lady A to commemorate different things. Some are full of meaning, some are in remembrance, some are just down right silly. Never know what will be added next. Lady A's OMG: Every so often Lady A is grabbed by a post. Something that makes her laugh, or cry, or just sit there wondering what the hell just happened (in a good way lol). When this happens she tries to take a moment to point it to others by posting about it in the Lady A's OMG topic. Those with this award have been featured there. Death Dealer: We all know that death is a part of life in any Lady A RP. Thing is, I am not the only one that deals it out. Sometimes someone else has taken the wheel. Most notably is the alt Lady Luck. Yet there are others just lurking in the shadows. You see this, you know to watch your back. A Major Award: Maybe not. Sometimes I just have the sickest sense of humor. Sometimes it is take and I am running on fumes when a death roll comes up and the most random thing will pop into my head. This was one of those times. This is just to forever remind a certain someone they died by a leg lamp. Completed Award: Contrary to popular belief, Rp's can complete. I am not talking dying out for one reason or another. I mean coming full circle and reaching an end point. This is awarded to those that showed up and stuck it out to the completion of a Lady A RP. Bask in their awesomeness.Schrodinger Award: Is it alive or dead? Who did it? Just what is the connection between Gm and Goddess? Well, chances are someone knows, other than me. Those who carry this little gem around know what is what and have solved a case in one of my Rps. Challenge Accepted: Every so often I will host an RP wide or even group wide challenge. A way to improve things either in your writing or just to cheer the place up. Thing is, these challenges should be their own reward yet once in a while someone stands out above the rest and it should be acknowledged. These people accepted the challenge and ran with it!Limb League: Life isn't the only thing that is lost in an RP. Sometimes you lose a limb. Those that have received this award are part of a special little group, they have meetings every Thursday Night with cookies to talk about their pain. I think there are cookies. Either way, they are proud of their limbs and be careful, they will throw them at you. The Graveyard: Can we take a moment and have some silence to respect the dead? Yeah, not happening. Anyone carrying this little award has had their Death Cherry Popped by LLA. Not a planned death, not fight another to the death. This came out of the blue and smacked the shit out of their character. I only award this once because if I were to keep up with how many LLA has taken for each Rper I would never get anything else done. The A Team: These people are either seriously dedicated to role playing or I slipped them some drugs and got them addicted to my Rps. Either way, I don't care. These people have been in at least five Rp's that I have hosted. They have never been kicked from one of my Rps and seem to be ready to join any and all Rp's I host. I pity the fool that gets between them and an RP! The O Wars: It started with a single case of SpaghettiO's. It went onto become so much more. Those who have this award have held one of these coveted cans in their hands for a short period of time. It is available only to those in TWD RP. The Chair Wars: Madness, I tell you. Pure madness. All this fuss over a chair. So I am going to play a game. Everyone in Machiavellian Masquerade will get to roll when I call for it. The lowest roll wins. Should there be a tie, there will be a roll off until a winner is declared. Every so often I will call for another War and should the winner change, so does the award. The Chair Wars have begun!The Kraken: One does not simply release the Kraken. Okay, well around here we do. I don't know why but chances are if you have been around more than five minutes you have witnessed some horrid human body expulsion, could be from either end. If it is memorable enough to become legend, you receive the Kraken. |

Trophies Trophies like Awards are a little extra on the forums for the peeps. And like Awards they show up on both your mini profile to the left and on your profile page. Unlike Awards I have nothing to do with how they are awarded. They are calculated off post count, how long you are on the forum, your activity in general. The more active you are here the more trophies you will get. Rules: Unfortunately there are a few rules that come along with these. I ask that you do not just go spamming about or following people you wouldn't normally have anything to do with just to gain them. While I cannot control this, I can remove them for individual members of the forum. So act ethically when it comes to them. As long as you do, they can be a lot of fun to have around. If you don't, by my personal standards, I will disable them for your account. This will remove them from your profile and your mini profile. Levels: As you gain more trophies you will gain Trophy Levels. Trophies come in 3 types - Bronze, Silver, and Gold. Each one is worth a certain amount of experience points. Bronze being the lowest, gold being the highest. Level is displayed above your trophy icons in your mini profile and on your profile page. Syncing: You might notice that you feel that you should have some trophies, at least for posts, but none are showing up. Thing is you have to sync your account. Don't worry this happens when you post. Each time you post, it syncs your account and then your trophies will show up. This goes for everyone. You might even see yours but others won't until you post. This isn't an excuse to go spam away but hey if you got something to post about, then post by all means. It will sync you up so everyone can see your pretties. Below you will see images of where they appear. You can click on the Trophies Tab on your profile page to see what type of awards are available. Do note there are certain precautions in place to keep a lot of these from being abused. Such as time on the forum only accumulates when you have the forum open in your front tab and have it there. Every time you click off it, it stops calculating. Read posts will not be tallied if you open a bunch of topics in tabs. Topics created does not count topics created before I added in Trophies. Post count just goes off your current post count but if you spam I can lower your post count to have the Trophies removed.   |

Word Count Stars As some of you may have noticed when you are copying and pasting your posts from RPG over to this forum there are a set of stars that appear in the top left hand corner of the post.  These are Word Count Stars. They will appear on certain parts of the forum depending on how much you type. Now, they are not set up for every part of the forum and they do no add up. You won't see them in your mini profile or on your profile page. They are just a quick tally of things for you to gauge the length of the your post. A little sparkly as you will. The longer the post, the more stars, or different color ones. Hit a certain length and you will will see something beyond the stars. The Seraphim will show up. IC Posts Favorite Posts SI RP:In Character Lady A's Universe:All Sections Gm Storage:All Sections Stars: 1 Star: 100 Words 2 Star: 250 Words 3 Star: 300 Words 4 Star: 400 Words  1 Star: 500 Words 2 Star: 750 Words 3 Star: 1000 Words 4 Star: 1250 Words  1 Star: 1500 Words 2 Star: 2000 Words 3 Star: 2500 Words 4 Star: 3000 Words  The Seraphim: 5000 Words Now while they don't add up and there is no way to keep track of them they are nifty. And Lady uses them as she checks posts on the forum to watch and see how length is going in certain Rps. It's a quick way for her to measure how peoples interest is being kept or not for certain characters and situations. Not to mention, if she sees a silver star or higher in Masquerade, chances are you are going to hear me bitching you let your post get too long. >.> |

Post Reactions Post reactions are just as they sound. Your reactions to a post. Laugh, cry, like, and so forth. They are special to our forum and I can add to them as more are requested. Those can be requested in the Suggestions area of the forum, there is a topic for them. Reaction RequestsNow, we do have a like post feature but it isn't something that I can currently change and add more to. It is highlighted below, the little cross symbol. Those are counted and added up and placed on your mini profile and you will be notified for those. The Post Reactions are not counted and appear no where else other than the very post where people react to them. I am hoping that will change in the future but for now they are what we have. Post Templates Headers can be a bitch to keep up with. They tend to vary from RP to RP. You have to either code them each time you post, copy and paste them, or keep them saved somewhere. Now when you are Rping over on RPG, it isn't a big issue but should people start posting here more, having your personal headers saved for quick access can be a blessing. Trust me I know. I use Post Templates constantly over here to make sure that every time I have to make an announcement the format is saved. This is made simple by post headers. Below you will find the original walk through I made for these when I added them to the forum.
Please note that you should make a back up somewhere as they are saved as a cookie in your browser - so if you clean your cookies out you will need to reload them. {How To Use Personal Post Templates - Click To View} Headers, codes, formats... Love them or hate them, they have become a massive part of the RP world as we know it. Headers: we use them to show what our character looks like, how they are feeling, where they are, what skills they are using. As Gms, we use our personal templates to lay out our RPs, post our rules, sum up what the rp is about, and more. No matter how you slice it, these templates give us life. (And make us pull our hair out.) Well what is you could set up a single code for a character or for your Rping in general and never have to worry about it again? Well, a lot of us already we do that. We house our templates in various places or go back and quote a previous post. Wouldn't it be nice to not have to? You don't anymore. Not with the PPT's! (Personal Post Templates!) Follow the instructions below and get your coding on! Step 1: Go to post, instead of posting in the quick reply area, make sure you click on the main reply area Step 2: Once it brings up the reply page, scroll down to the bottom and you will see the Post Templates. Step 3: Now, in the blank area paste your code in, ignore the flashing icon for now. (If you don't have it coded already, you can code it there. It uses the same code as the forums so all you have to do is grab a header code or any other code there and paste it in.) Step 4: The code is now there and you need a way to know what the code is for, click on the icon so you can add in an image to help you remember. (Character image, gif, rp image, etc) Step 5: Next just past in the URL of your preview image here. You don't have to use one but if you are going to have multiple templates, it is probably best if you do. Step 6: Okay, it is time to save this baby so it is with you always! Step 7: Are you ready to use your template now? Sweet! Go for it! Step 8: And boom! The code is taken from where you typed it and saved it and placed it directly into the post! How sweet is that? Okay, you might be asking yourself why go through all of that just to have it pop in? Well, you only code once! Once you click that save button, it saved the template to your account (via your browser) and every time you post from here on out you can chose to use that code if you want! Have multiple characters? Create a saved template for each! Just want to save the basic header? Then one is all you need. Update as you want, resave as you edit if need be. They sky really is the limit (Outside of being able to share with others but hey, nothing is perfect.) Either way, no more hunting down your headers! You can have them all in one place, easy click and use! |

Forum Avatars Avatars are wonderful things. They help to display your personality. Thing is, it can be hard to chose and not everyone wants the same thing. Don't get me wrong the default avatar we have when you sign up is lovely and it matches the forum layout but sometimes you just want a change. Thing is finding the right avatar can be hard. So I have provided a set of avatars that you can pick up. More will be added over time, for different holidays, moods, and so forth. For now though, here is a quick walk through on how to use one of the Forum Avatars. Simply go to your profile page and click Edit Profile:  Next scroll down to Use Forum Avatar and click Pick One:  Now the following box will pop up:  Simply pick the one you want. The box will automatically close. Now all you have to do is click Save Avatar Settings and you are good to go. |

Gm Planning Area As you have looked through the forum you might have seen the area titled GM Storage but it looks like there is nothing there. Well my friend, you would be wrong. There is a whole world there. Unseen to the rest of the world. That is the GM area and you can only access it with a password given to you by specific GM's. "But Lady A! Why can't I go there?"Simple enough, you were not invited. That isn't to be mean, it is just simple fact. You see, it takes a lot of work for a GM to get an RP together. Much of the time GM's don't want you to see what is being put together before it is completed. We are finicky that way. In the GM Storage area, various Gm's are putting together future Rps that they will be hosting. It is a safe place they can go that is under lock and key. Password protected so only those that might be helping them can get in. "But Lady A! I am a GM and I want to plan!"No worries my lovelies. If you would like your own GM planning area simply private message me here, on RPG, or on Discord and let me know you need an area to plot and plan. I will create an area for you and send you the password for it. Then you too will be able to plot and plan without people seeing. Some GM's simply use it as a back up location for their own personal Rp's in case something happens on RPG. (Those of us that have been on RPG a while are a bit paranoid about losing our RP Shit, especially after Guild Fall..) So if you are a GM or want to become on and want to start planning out your stuff and need a place to hide your precious drop me a line and I will get that set up for you as soon as I have a free moment. |

CS Backup You might have noticed under the RPG Backup Area there is a board for CS's. This is for you to house any and all Cs's of yours personally that you have used, will use, or are using currently in any and every RP. It is a catch all deposit for your personal characters to keep safe and sound as long as you are a member of SI.
All I ask about this is that you make 1 and only 1 topic for yourself. Not one for every character. Then all you have to do is copy and paste your stuff over here to keep it safe. If you are worry about coding, simply put it in the code brackets and it will save the raw format for you for when you need it on RPG should anything happen. Not that it will but as I said back in GM Storage, those of us that have been around a while are a bit protective and overcautious for reasons already stated.
Those that are in any RP of mine where Cs's are kept hidden, I do not recommend you save your full Cs there. Anyone could read it. Don't worry though, I do have ever CS approved for any of my RP's where the CS must be kept private - it is hidden away in my own GM planning section safe and sound. If you ever need a copy of it, just let me know. |

Spoilers! Okay, if you have been a member of any of my Rps for more than like five minutes you know my biggest thing is NO SPOILERS. Well, save on one occasion. You see the website host for this forum doesn't have Hiders like we do over on RPG, so I had to find a work around. What I was able to find was a plug in titled - Spoilers. Sometimes you just have to work with what you can get your hands on and to keep things as much like what you all are used to, it has been installed on the forum for some time. See that little icon below?  Yup, that little shh icon is the spoiler icon. Now, you can use that or you can just type in like you would for hider but use the word spoiler instead. It really is that simple. Just replace the word and it will hide your stuff for you just like it does over on RPG. And it will pop up like this. {Your Spoiler Name}All your content here. I will say this - make sure your spoiler code is on a line by itself or it can glitch for some reason. Trying to figure out why but got nothing so far. |

Member Groups Now like with most forums, we do have member groups here on SI. Some of them have to do with a persons job within the group. Like Admin or Moderator. Others are more personal like OG SI and Immortal. Everyone on the forum falls into a group whether you might know it or not. Each group is distinguished not only by the color of their name on the forum but by their member group title and set of stars under their name. Below is a break down of this. Not ever group gets a second set of stars. Mother Of SI: Me, the admin and creator of the forum. Why doesn't it just say Admin? Well that goes along with the history of SI. Which is a very long history spanning two decades. It is something I will get into later on but just know that this isn't the first Seraphim Immortals website or forum. It started back on WinMx and spread from there. It has had hundreds of members over the years and this isn't the only forum for SI out there that I run. This is just the most recent inception. (Unless you kill me and take over this is just for me.) Staff: If you see someone with this color code it means they are a staff member of SI. Whether that is forum or chat, they are my seconds when it comes to keeping order. If a problem arises they deal with it or let me know about it. They have the right to kick and ban people and I expect you to show them as much if not more respect to them as you do me. (Only those appointed a staff member by Lady A can be a member of this group.) OG SI: If someone has this under their name, stand in awe. Maybe not because they are an original member that has been at this far longer than most have been alive. Marvel at them because they have put up with me for a minimal of a decade and probably far longer. It means they are a member of at least 1 other inception of SI out there. It could be the other SI forums, the original chat back on WinMx, or even a part of the SI guild system that spans numerous MMORPG's. (Only those that were around before RPG can be a member of this group. It is assigned by Lady A) Immortals: Chances are you have seen this color pop up and maybe you wondered why your name wasn't this color since you are referred to as an Immortal over on Discord. Simple, you never chose to be an Immortal here. People who are members of this group have chosen the SI life. What does that mean? It's hard to explain. Maybe it is a standard of behavior or conduct, maybe it is just a feeling of being part of something more. I don't decide. This is the only group out there where you can chose to be a part of if you would like. (To do so, simply go to your profile page, click groups, scroll down to Immortals, and click Join Group.)
RP Less: This group is reserved for members of the forum that are on Hiatus and we hope to return one day. To make it to this group you have to have been in one of my Rp's for a minimal of six months with no issues before withdrawing honestly. It means you still have access to the forum and can pop in and out as you like as long as you don't break my trust. Members: This is pretty much everyone else on the forum who is active in at least one of my Rps and hasn't chosen to be an Immortal. Nothing wrong with being a general member. You are newer or just don't want to bother to go over and pick to be an Immortals. Perhaps you just like the gold instead of the cyan blue color code for you name. I don't care. As long as you remain in an Rp of mine and stay in good standing you can keep this as long as you like. Former SI: This is a nice way of saying someone was banned. They were either kicked out of an RP of mine or withdrew before the six month mark. Either way, they are gone and shan't be returning unless something massive happens. |

Member Ranks Member Ranks are different from Member Groups. These are based off your post count only. The longer you are on the forum and the more you post, the higher your rank will get. Everyone has these stars, they start as soon as your registration is approved on the forum. If you are a member of a Starred Member Group, that will be your top set of stars. The bottom will be your Member Rank. If you are not a member of a Starred Member Group, then your Member Rank is your only set of stars above your name. Below is a list of the Member Ranks and how many posts it takes to achieve each of them. Angel: 0 Posts  Archangel: 50 Posts  Principality: 100 Posts  Power: 250 Posts  Virtue: 500 Posts  Domination: 750 Posts  Throne: 1000 Posts  Cherubim: 2000 Posts  Seraphim: 5000 Posts  |

Comments Okay, we read a post. We upvote it. We like it. Maybe we even use a reaction here on SI. Thing is, if we comment on it on Discord, the comment can get lost and a lot of the time a little icon just do it justice. Thing is we can't exactly post in the topic a lot of the time how we really feel. Now we can! Now we have post comments! Look here. See that little box that say comment? Yeah, click on it!  Now, see what pops up? A place to enter your real feelings! I am not sure how much you can type there but hey, give it a whirl!  Once you finish typing just hit your enter key. And look at the bottom of the post!  Isn't that neat? I thought so! Now, be aware this isn't available on all parts of the forum. I only have it available in certain areas. Smileys Alright, I know what you are thinking. Basically every forum has smileys. Yeah, they do but ours have been updated and expanded on. They will change if the skin changes. I like things to go together. I am weird like that. I have tried to make sure that they won't pop up in normal text by mistake. So if you end up seeing one where you don't think one should be - like in the middle of a post - let me know and I will see what I can do about changing that.
Please note there is no way to turn off smileys in certain areas of the forum, if I could I would for every IC and CS area. Sadly I cannot. You can however anytime you post by clicking on the smileys icon and clicking disable. That is about the best work around I have currently. I am working on it but I am limited considering this is a free host site and I am already sinking cash into the plug in lol.
This is the current set - it will be updated as skins change - hopefully I won't be changing a skin for a long time. |

Birthdays Birthdays are a special time for my peeps! So make sure you have your birthday entered in here on the forum! Why is it so important? Well for several reasons. One is just acknowledgement. You see, when you log into the forum on your birthday, everyone of your posts will have the cutest little birthday cake by your name both on your mini profile and on your main profile.  When you see that, you will also get a little reminder message. That reminder? For you to get your Birthday roll from Lady A! What is a birthday roll? Oh well, that is your gift! Every member of Si gets a birthday roll for every birthday they are part of my peeps! What is the gift? The roll determines that. You could get a spoiler card and get any question answered within an RP. Maybe you want to kill off an NPC? Maybe you want to get out of a death? Maybe you need another day to post somewhere? You never know but once the roll is made you find out and it is marked down! You could even get the coveted get anyone out of any LLA roll card! So make sure we know your birthday so you don't miss out! |

Zombies! A fun little game for everyone to play. How long can we keep the forum alive? Will we survive this outbreak or will we fall to chaos and all die? That is up to you! Now, when you look at someone's profile it will have what they are outlined and marked. Everyone that is currently active has been assigned a role. You are either : - Infected: Someone who has the Zombie Virus
- Scientist: Someone who has a chance to cure an Infected Zombie
- Soldier: Someone who can kill an Infected Zombie
- Immune: Every so often someone will be immune. Not totally though. You can still die.
- Dead: Oh shit you're dead.
If you are infected, you are trying to spread the infection! Start Biting people! Yet you can only bite so many people per hour! If you are a soldier or a scientist you can try to put down the infected zombies. Soldiers have bullets. Scientists have cures. Thing is you only have so many of each per hour or even day. Some of you are immune but who is? We don't know yet. It's randomly generated. The immune can die, so watch out! And what happens if you die? Oh yes, you can die but you can also respawn. Oh but there is a chance you will respawn infected. How do you bite, shoot, or cure someone? Check their mini-profile between your trophies count and awards! There are your actions! How many bullets, cures, respawns, etc. that you have changes with each restart of the game. It changes each time, so look out! Now, happy hunting! |

Monetary System We now have a way for the members of the forum to earn a living. Well not a real living but at least a bit of spare change on the forum. What will that money be used for? Ahh, we will get to that later on. It will be part of a new forum feature that will show up below this post but for now, know you are earning money. Cha-ching! How one earns money: - Replying to a post.
- Longer posts get bonuses
- Starting your own topic.
- Earning a daily wage based on post count.
- Staff members earn an additional wage.
- Getting a donation from another member.

You can find your Bank and Donations buttons at the bottom left hand corner of the screen. See the little piggie? Oink fucking oink, that's your bank. See the cash beside him? That's where you can make and see who has gifted you donations. To gift a donation to a friend, simply go to their profile page, look at the right hand side of their profile and click donations. Scroll to the bottom and enter the amount you want to donate and hit send. You can also find your bank in the navigation menu at the top of the forum. Now, do note that this system is disabled in the Testing and the Swamp forum areas - don't want you spamming. You know how I feel about spam right? Yeah, that's right. I'll gut you. What can you spend your earning on? A shop will be coming soon but for now, let's see those bank accounts grow and those wallets fatten. The amount you have in your wallet is listed in your mini profile and your main profile. What is in your bank account is listed only on your main profile page. Happy earning. Now get to work! |

Monetary Shop Well, now that you have money what will you do with it? Head right over to the shop and spend, spend, spend! That is if you aren't saving it up for now. The shop is now open and ready to go! Time to buy all those little things you really don't need but you want because. Oh hell, it doesn't matter why. Just have fun going on a well earned shopping spree! Where is the shop? You can find it down on the bottom left corner of your screen and in the navigation menu now. What does the shop sell? All sorts of things. Food and drink. Specialty items and Side Kicks. It even has a Build-A-Body section in the back and odd deaths. Will more come? Yes! I will update the shop from time to time with new items. Some will be limited, some will be permanent. I will even start adding little rewards to use in RP that you can buy in the shop eventually! Can I gift something? Yes, yes you can! If you wish to gift something to a friend you simply buy the item for yourself, then go to their profile page and click the gift/trade button at the right hand side of their profile. Click what you want to give and send it through! How do I check to see if I got a gift? Just click the gift/trade button next to the shop icon at the bottom right hand side of the screen. It will take you to the gift page to let you know if someone sent you something. If you have a little present waiting, accept it and unwrap for your surprise! I don't have enough money, what do I do? Earn more! You get a salary periodically based off your post count and the longer and more in-depth your posts are the more you earn from them! So stay active! It pays now! |
